There are two types of fans: axial flow and radial flow. They are classified according to the direction of air flow when the fan is working. When an axial flow fan is working, the blades push the air to flow in the same direction as the axis, so it is called an axial flow fan; when a radial flow fan is working, the blades push the air to flow in a direction perpendicular to the axis (i.e. radial), so it is called a radial flow fan.

       Axial flow fans are divided into large axial flow fans, medium axial flow fans, and small axial flow fans. Choose the appropriate axial flow fan according to the required usage location.

       Generally speaking, large axial fans are mainly suitable for exhaust in places such as dust and gravel fields; medium-sized axial fans are mainly suitable for indoor ventilation and heat dissipation, such as granaries; small axial fans are mainly suitable for ventilation and heat dissipation of mechanical equipment, such as electrical cabinets.

       Because the wind pressure of traditional turbo fans is not generated in the central part of the fan, but by the rotation of the fan blades. Therefore, no matter how high the speed is, there will be no wind blowing down from the axis. But under the fan axis is the heat core, which is the main source of heat. This situation causes the inherent defects of traditional axial flow fans: blocked by the motor, the airflow cannot reach the central part smoothly, causing a "blind spot". The existence of the blind spot causes the core part of the radiator to have a high temperature, affecting the overall heat dissipation effect. To solve this problem, centrifugal radial fans were manufactured.
